Floodlights are an effective means of illuminating a large area with minimal effort. Consider them akin to uplighting, which is commonly employed at events such as weddings or concerts. These lights are particularly useful for illuminating landscapes or providing fill lighting on walls or fences surrounding your home.
Floodlights can also serve as security lighting for your residence, ensuring that any dark areas are adequately illuminated. When paired with an outdoor motion sensor, these lights can automatically activate upon motion detection.

RGBICWW Flood Lights

Govee’s Floodlights are a great way to illuminate a large area directly in front of the lights. This is great for casting uplighting onto walls or over your landscape. These can also be easily used as security lights for your home; just connect a motion sensor to your floodlights and you will be able to have nice bright motion-activated lights.
Mounting Options
The floodlights come with two mounting options. Ground spikes are provided for ground light installation, just screw the spikes into the mounting bracket and push the lights into the ground. Should you choose to mount on a wall or similar surface, you can use the holes in the bracket to screw them onto the wall.
Triad Flood Lights

These floodlights are the newer model which combine 3 ultra-bright floodlights into one unit. This creates an ultra-wide light casting area in front of the light. Having three lights built into one product also allowed them to create a unique feature to these lights, a comic-like rainbow shadow effect.

Mounting Options
Similar to the original floodlights, this product comes with two mounting options. Ground spikes are provided for ground light installation, just screw the spikes into the mounting bracket and push the lights into the ground. Should you choose to mount on a wall or similar surface, you can use the holes in the bracket to screw them onto the wall.
Spot Lights

Lighting up specific parts of your home with a controlled spotlight or highlighting your favorite features of your home is easy with the Spot Lights. Set them to one color or different colors for each, be ready for any occaison you are celebrating.
Mounting Options
The spot lights come with a ground spike for you to mount into the ground then attach the light. This is very similar to the mounting options for the Flood Lights.
Unique Feature
According to Govee, the power adapter and control box for the Spot Lights have a unique feature. I have not tried it myself since I do not have Spot Lights personally, but you should be able to screw in a Flood Light or a Pathway light to the cord to mix and match your lights. This is not mentioned on either of the other products.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I connect multiple of the Flood Lights or Spot Lights to one device so I don’t need to use multiple power adapters?
No, each product has programming based on the number of lights for that product. You cannot connect multiple strands of Flood/Spot lights physically, but you can group them together in the app.
Can I extend the cord that connects the power cable to the actual lights?
Yes, but I warn you that doing this will void your warranty. You can cut and then splice an extension between the light and the waterproof power connector, but you must make sure to seal your splices to protect it from water intrusion. I highly recommend that you use waterproof splice kits to ensure your products are safe, but do this at your own risk.
