• The lights now come in 3 lengths rather than being able to connect 3 separate curtains together via the app. This is a big change from the previous model. You cannot extend the curtains later so choose your total length from the start.
• 10-layer canvas for DIY Creation, up from 5-layers
• GIF support for up to 200kb, up from 6kb
• Gallery Assets Library: Supports Static images and moving gifs, previously only supporting static images
• Matter support, rather than only Alexa, Google, and Govee App
• Includes a Plastic mounting strap accessory

Community Notes

Govee Ambassadors have been chatting about their disapproval of this model of the Curtain Lights. Many complain about the lack of support of designs made with Curtain 1 model, so people would need to make their designs again. People are also reporting a lack of support for transparency in GIFs. Another mentioned issue is the change in which you cannot splice together curtains like you could with the first model, so you would need to buy the width you need up front rather than being able to add or separate curtains at will.

My Notes

I do not plan to buy this model at this time. I am waiting to see if they are able to iron out the issues with the software and get some of these issues out. I may even just end up buying more of Curtain 1 like my original plan.
